Great Post!

I've been using a Two-step Microdermabrasion and Replenishing product from Mary Kay to exfoliate. Its absolutely AMAZING! I would recommend it to anyone that wants smooth skin, or has scarring. My face felt like a babies after the first time trying it.

I wanted to say thank you for posting this information about basic tips for keeping the skin clean. A client of mine suggested I buy an over the counter vitamin called Biotin for my hair and skin. I tried it for about a month, and did notice a difference. My skin was not so blotchy. They sell it at any drug store. I usally get the generic stuff.

I've also noticed taking in plenty of water keeps my face hydrated. That's something I need to do more of.

Thanks for your post!

Great post. Most people don't know what to look for in cleansers. They think that just because it's a popular brand it must be good...

On that note, avoiding cleansers with sodium laurel sulfate is recommended because that chemical is just too harsh on black skin. Heck, it's too harsh on anybody's skin because it's so drying.
